3 suspected cultists remanded in court for murder.
3 suspected cultists have been remanded in a Lagos State High Court sitting yesterday, Thursday.
The court sitting was at Tafawa Balewa Square, and the court remanded these 3 men who are suspected to be cultists for murder.
They are suspected members of a society or fraternity group known as ‘IBILE,’.
These 3 men have been identified as Jemilu Adamu, Jimoh Idris and Babatunde Gbenga.
It was Justice Yetunde Adesanya who remanded them after they had taken their plea.
The charges given to them by the state include two counts of membership in this fraternity group/ society.
This crime had been committed on the 22nd of April in 2018. It was the state prosecuting counsel who told the court thus.
They had killed a man who has been identified as Owolabi Ajibola.
They committed this act at Odus Bus Stop in Olodi Apapa, Lagos State.
The defendants had pleaded not guilty to all these charges. The case was then adjourned till November 1 and 2 for the trial
