Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake has won the award for Next Rated Artist at the 2023 Headies held yesterday in Atlanta, USA.
The Headies Awards took place yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia with prominent Nigerian acts like Rema, Wande Coal among others.
Asake won the Next Rated award defeating Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, Spyro, and Victony who were also nominated in the same category with him.
Mr Money as he is fondly called also took home the award for Album of the Year after his debut album Mr Money With The Vibe bagged the award.
Despite being nominated in the same category with artists like Davido, Rema, Burna Boy among others, Asake still claimed this massive win for the night.
While receiving his Next Rated award, speechless Asake gave a resounding "Thank you" to the audience as he walked off the stage.
