Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate Bambam has revealed the reason why she went on the Big Brother Naija show. She shared that it was because of her acting career.
Recall Bambam was on the Big Brother Naija Double Wahala season 3 show. This was in 2018.
Her real name is Bamike Adenibuyan but she is known popularly as BamBam. She is married to a fellow BBNAIJA housemate who is known as Teddy A. His real name is Tobi Adenibuyan.
The duo began their relationship while in the BBNAIJA house together in 2018 and got married in 2019.
They welcomed their first child in 2020, and the second last year, 2022.
She recently revealed that she went on the show because of her acting career. She revealed that after graduating from school, the hustle was real because she wanted to be in film production. She says she was tired of going from one movie audition to the other and still not get casted.
She says she decided to take advantage of the huge platform of Big Brother Naija so that she can boost her career. She knew the platform came with publicity so she went for it.
She mentioned this in a recent interview with TVC. She says that she had always wanted to be in filmmaking. She went on the platform of BBNAIJA to be seen.
She says before BBNAIJA she would sometimes minor roles like walking past and would be paid 5k.
She eventually left Lagos for Abuja to pursue her career and she then got a 9-to-5 job which was comfortable.
It was after this she went on BBNAIJA and she said that ever since she came out of the house, her career has blown up.
