Bella Shmurda
Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi aka Bella Shmurda is a Nigerian musician and songwriter. The singer is good at what he does which has earned him recognition in and outside of Nigeria. Bella was born on the 27th of January 1996 in Ikorodu, Lagos State. He is also famous for being a close friend of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad.
Unlike other singers, Bella Shmurda is an independent artist. He doesn't belong to any record label and has the free will to do whatever he wants with his music. He rose to stardom after he featured rapper Olamide in the remix of his song titled Vision 2020. His friend and schoolmate, dancer Poco Lee, danced to the original version of Vision 2020 and it went viral. When Olamide heard the song, he invited Bella Shmurda and they collaborated on the remix that became his breakthrough.
The breakthrough encouraged him to drop his album titled High Tension. He also featured Zlatan in one of his music known as Cash App. His artistic sense earned him a nomination for the Next Rated Artist at the 2020 Headies Award. He also won the Street Music of the Year Award at the City People Entertainment Award.
