Popular comedian Ayo Makun aka AY is set to release the third part of his blockbuster movie, Merry Men on Netflix this month.
AY shared this on his Instagram page yesterday in anticipation of its release on 18th January, 2024. The first part of the action-packed movie was released in 2018 while the second part was released in 2019. The recent one was officially out in the cinemas in 2023 but suffered a significant decrease in the sale of tickets. The movie topped the box office during the first week but later made about N34M in sales.
Merry Men is the story of a group of notorious bachelors who lead a life of extravagance while trying to save the poor people of a village after a power-drunk politician oppresses them. The cast includes Folarin Falana aka Falz, Ayo Makun, Ramsey Nouah, Ireti Doyle, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Segun Arinze, Jide Kosoko, and Jim Iyke among others.
