Convicted Nigerian fugitive, Florence Onyegbu extradited to US

A convicted fugitive who has who has identified as Florence Enwerem Onyegbu, has been extradited to the US for some criminal charges.
This happened on Thursday, and the woman has been extradited to the United States of America, USA.
She is wanted to answer to some criminal charges that violates the Law of the United states.
These charges include the offer and payment of illegal remuneration in a health care matter.
It was The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) who disclosed incident on Friday. They mentioned this in a statement. They said that she was apprehended at her residence on the 21st of February, 2022 in Ojodu in Lagos state.
Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesman of the EFCC mentioned that investigations were carried out by the anti-graft and this revealed that she had changed her name from Florence Onyegbu to Janet Boi. This was most likely in an attempt to remain hidden.
A national identity card with the name Janet Boi, was found in her possession when she was arrested. They also found a Texas driver’s license with the name Florence Onyegbu on it.
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had requested for the assistance to apprehend her and the extradition was coordinated by the EFCC.
The EFCC then handed her over to the FBI after the extradition order had been granted by Justice Z.B. Abubakar of the Federal High Court. The order was granted during a sitting in Abuja on the 2nd of December, 2022
