Transportation in Nigeria is an essential part of the country's development and this can be heavily assisted when there are good roads to further convey vehicles, products, and even humans.
However, the country has been experiencing little growth in that area as it has a vast population that is spread around both in the rural and urban areas. Nigeria has been lacking some deficiencies in infrastructure deficit, modern digital technology, modern transport policies, lack of professionalism, and lack of modern communication equipment.
Nigeria for a while now has been losing huge amounts of money due to these loopholes and this is a critical sector for any genuine economy that has the interest of the masses at heart. To increase the growth, Nigeria has to invest more into revitalizing the transport system to boost growth which will attract more investment from both foreign and local partners.
In a bid to boost the transportation system, the government needs to invest more in the use of modern digital technology. Not only that, the government needs to hire well-trained professionals with the right skills, knowledge, and exposure.
On the other hand, Nigerian roads have been a hub of evil as we hear reports of evil daily on road accidents, robberies, kidnappings, and other harassment from officers who stay at checkpoints. Other parts involved lack of modern technology and infrastructure usage, poor training and retraining of personnel, and inadequate communication devices.
