EFCC Chairman briefs President Tinbu on Fight Against Corruption

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa,l visited the president of Nigeria recently to brief him about the fight against corruption in Nigeria.
The meeting was held on the 31st of away, 2023. He met with Bola Tinubu just 48 hours after he had been inaugurated as the 16th president of Nigeria.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja
This was the first meeting the EFCC Chairman will be having with the president since he came into this office.
It was the agency who had revealed this on their twitter handle.
He was able to brief the president on the state of the fight against corruption in Nigeria.
He also spoke about his visit to Saudi Arabia recently where he had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (NAZAHA) in Saudi Arabia.
This was so as to strengthen international partnerships to address the serious challenges which corruption has posed to people.
