Fire destroys akere spare part market in lagos.

A fire incident has been reported to have happened at Akere Spare Parts Market today. This happened in Apapa in Lagos state. This fire destroyed lots of Goods in this market and traders who own shops at the market have been counting their losses of huge amounts.
It was reported that a life was also lost during this incident. The body of a security guard was found at the scene of the fire incident. The man who was killed is a 65-year-old security guard.
Sources say that gun men came to the market and set it ablaze and it was here that the security was killed.
The fire and rescue services in Lagos State determined the cause of death to be a gunshot wound.
The fire was said to have started in the early hours of the day around 3am. The Fire Station in Ajegunle was the first to respond to this situation. They realized that the shops which dealt in spare parts were set ablaze.

The fire service mentioned that an investigation into this fire accident will have to be carried out. They also needed to take account of all that was lost during the fire incident.
As of a few hours ago, the Lagos State Police Command has begun their investigation into the incident. More updates will be given as the investigation goes on.
