Garba Shehu says that Nigerians will yearn for Buhari when he leaves office
Mr Garba Shehu the Senior Special Assistant to the President, president Muhammdu Buhari has claimed that Nigerians are going to yearn for or miss President Buhari when he leaves office.
He made this claim ahead of when President Buhari leaves office on the 29th of May, 2023.
Garba Shehu is a Nigerian Journalist and also a politician. He serves as the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
He was in an interview with Channels TV on Monday, March 27 when he mentioned this.
He mentioned how Nigerians don't love their leaders while they are in office but they miss them when they leave.
This was while he was lamenting over the amount of criticisms that were been thrown at the President, he then mentioned that leaders are not loved while they are in office.
He also added that the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, is now the favorite of many after he has been persecuted out of office.
He said the same will happen when Buhari leaves office and many will miss him.
