Governor Sanwo-Olu sympathizes with the crash victims in lagos

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed his sadness and sympathized with the victims of the train/bus crash in Ikeja today.
Earlier today, a train coming from Agege crashed into a bus filled with Lagos State Government staff on the railway. The bus was crossing the railway when the accident happened.
2 people died at the scene of the accident and 4 others passed away at the hospital. Other victims are injured and receiving treatment at the hospital.
Governor Sanwo-Olu shared on his twitter a prayer for the victims and the families. He asked that people say prayers for the people affected by this tragedy. He also appreciated the people who were present and assisted with the rescue operation.

The Governor also visited injured victims of the crash at the Lagos state University teaching hospital (LASUTH).

A brief of the situation was given as shared on twitter by Mr Jubril Gawat.
The driver survived the accident and according to them is now in police custody.
A total of 85 passengers were there, 6 dead, 42 moderate injuries, 29 serious injuries and 8 mild injuries have been recorded.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also suspends his campaign for 3 days and declared tomorrow as half work day for civil servants.
