Governor Seyi Makinde sworn in for second term
The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has been sworn in for his second term in office.
Governor Makinde is the Governor 9f Oyo State and he won in the gubernatorial elections in March. This will be his second term.
The inauguration for the governor of Oyo state was held at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Oke-Ado Ibadan.
There was a large turnout of people including family, friends and people in politics who attended the event.
As the inauguration for the president twas taking place in Abuja, so also were governors being inaugurated in their states
He took his oath of Office and has been sworn in today
It was the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Iyabo Yerima. Who administered the oath and swearing in.
He took the oath and then he was driven around the stadium and inspected the parade which the security men had formed.
