Gunmen kidnap FCTA staff and 14 others in Abuja
Some suspected gunmen have kidnapped about 15 people in Abuja recently.
They abducted a staff of the FCT Department of Development Control and 14 other people.
This incident occurred on Sunday night in Pegi community in Kuje Area, Federal Capital Territory FCT, Abuja.
They began the attack by 11:30pn and were shooting into the air. The abducted people who were coming back at that time.
It was the Chairman of Pegi Residents Association known as Taiwo Aderibigbe, who revealed that a staff member of the FCT Department of Development Control had been abducted.
The Director of FCT Department of Development Control, Mukhtar Galadima also confirmed this.
This staff member has been identified as Shuaibu Misa.
Mr Taiwo revealed that these kidnappers haven't contacted the families of the victims yet.
He also revealed they are still trying to identify the remaining 14 people who were kidnapped.
Mr Galadima said this man who was kidnapped was one of the drivers.
The police command in FCT hasn't reacted to this news yet as at this time.
