Singer Portable has taken a swipe at Wizkid in a short video which surfaced online yesterday from the Honest Bunch podcast with Nedu. He was seen making a plea to Wizkid asking him not to forget those in the 'trenches'.
He said, "Na one person I want make una help us beg. Baba don forget trenches. Na Wizkid. If we offend Wizkid, make he forgive us. He no dey look our face again."
This is coming a few days after he called out his colleague Seyi Vibez for imitating Asake's sounds in his music.
Wizkid is often seen as someone who is introverted and closed off. Wizkid has confirmed this in several interviews before that he likes to keep to himself. However, Portable says he should show love to his people and shouldn't be too distant from his people.
Portable further added that Olamjde and Don Jazzy are good examples of industry OGs who assist the younger artists and put them on the right path.
He said, "You know why Olamide be baba. You know why Don Jazzy be baba. Dem dey help a lot of people."
