I didn't authorize any protest in Abuja or Lokoja for the 9th of December, Kogi SDP Governorship candidate debunks rumor

Muritala Ajaka, Kogi State SDP Governorship candidate has taken to social media to debunk the false news that was circulated by an anonymous group. The news that was making rounds stated that Ajaka has slated a protest for today, December 9th in Kogi State and Abuja. He made a short video debunking the claim and said he didn't authorize any of such. He said " Good evening. I have just been informed of a planned protest by some people claiming to be members of the Social Democratic Party or acting on my instruction. I didn't authorize any protest in Lokoja or Abuja tomorrow. Anybody protesting in my name should be arrested. They are all agents of Yahaya Bello trying to cause commotion in the state."
He urged the security agencies to do their due diligence by arresting anyone who wants to start commotion in his name. He claimed that those who are planning to protest are agents of the ruling party in Kogi State, APC. "So please, the security agencies should take note and get these people arrested. Anybody seen with an SDP vest on Saturday, protesting, they should arrest them. They are agents of Yahaya Bello," he concluded.
