Nigerian singer and African Bad Girl Tiwa Savage has canceled her first headline show at the O2 Arena after revealing that she had been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks.

The 43-year old singer put out a statement on her social media pages informing her fans about the new development.
She said she had been asked to take some time off singing and performing at shows and her doctor has instructed her to be on a strict vocal rest for the next couple of months.
Tiwa Savage said she will have to cancel all her upcoming performances and her first headline arena show in London.
She apologized to her fans and expressed her disappointment saying she is heartbroken about the situation and she promises to be back as soon as she fully recovers.
She wrote, "I'm heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what's left of my voice. I'm so sorry. I love you all and promise to be back performing once I'm fully healed."
