The All Progressives Congress's (APC) national delegates have completed voting at the party's ongoing extraordinary convention in Abuja, where the party's presidential candidate for 2023 will be chosen.
There are signs that between APC national leader Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi, a winner will emerge.
Governors Kayode Fayemi, Abubakar Badaru, and ex-Governor Ibikunle Amosun, among others, had already stepped aside for the party's National Leader.
However, earlier that night, Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation, accused the election process of being rigged.
The previous Rivers State governor insisted on election transparency.
The voting, which began around 2 a.m. on Wednesday and ended at 7.45 a.m., was conducted under tight security and under the watchful eye of aspirants' agents.
