Man arrested for throwing shotgun cartridges into Buckingham Palace

A man has been arrested for throwing shotgun cartridges into Buckingham Palace. It was the Police in London who made this arrest. This man threw some shotgun cartridges into the grounds of the palace on Tuesday.
The police revealed that the man walked up to the gates and threw several items inside.
This happened around 7pm that day. This incident is happening just a few days to the coronation of King Charles III.
This event which will be attended by leaders is a very important one.
The man was arrested and detained. The police officers took him to police custody. This is because he is suspected to possess an offensive weapon.
Joseph McDonald, who is the Police chief superintendent mentioned this in a statement.
They also revealed there were no shots fired, nor did any officer or citizen sustain any injury.
Investigations are ongoing regarding this.
Reports also reveal that King Charles and his wife were not at the palace when this happened.
The coronation will be the first in 70 years. Recall the late Queen Elizabeth was crowned in 1953 and ruled from then till 2022 when she passed away.
Preparation for the coronations are in full gear.
