Man arrested with drugs concealed in packs of Air freshener.
A man who is known as a big boy in Enugu has been arrested with illegal drugs that were carefully concealed inside packs of air freshener.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officers made this arrest.
The Man has been identified as Onyeze Obiora. He was arrested in Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at the SAHCO export shed. This happened on Monday, March 20, 2023.
The drugs were packed inside packs of air freshener. The drugs were in some containers and some were actually air freshener so as not to rouse suspicion.
Mr Femi Babafemi who is the spokesperson for the NDLEA mentioned this in a statement on the 27th of march.
The drugs consist of 300grams of raw cocaine and 200grams of phenacetin. There was also a chemical agent used to adulterate and increase the volume of cocaine.
