Man receives 3 years jail sentence for impersonating FBI agent

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has revealed that a man who is a fake FBI agent has been sentenced to 3 years in jail.

They revealed that a High Court sitting in Kaduna, had given the judgment. The Court had been presided over by Justice Darius Khobo.

They sentenced this man who has been identified as Solomon Eke to three years imprisonment due to impersonation.
They had revealed this on their twitter.

This man, Eke, had been operating a Facebook account using the name Kelvin James.
He was impersonating an American FBI agent named John Smith.

They arrested him in Abuja alongside some other fraudulent people.
They arrested him after reports of his fraudulent activities.

He had impersonated this FBI agent so as to lure people and scam them.

He has pleaded guilty to these charges and was then sentenced to 3 years jail term. He was told to forfeit his iPhone 14 Pro Max phone to the Federal Government. He was also given an option of N150,000 jas fine.
