Father of late singer Mohbad, has revealed that his deceased son was scared of going to shows because of his former label boss Naira Marley.
Before Mohbad's death, he was severely bullied and harassed by Naira Marley and Sam Larry. Mohbad spoke up and even filed a petition with the police but all efforts proved futile. Even after leaving Naira Marley's label in 2022, the bullying continued as Mohbad was waylaid at shows and public gatherings.
In a recent interview with Alaroye TV, Mohbad's father recalled paying a visit to his son at the Marlians' house. On getting there, his son was physically assaulted with bruises all over his body. He revealed that two months before his death, the King of Elegushi sent Sam Larry to beat Mohbad.
Mohbad's father said he wanted to go with his son to the Oba of Ikorodu to resolve the issue between his son and the concerned parties. Unfortunately, it never happened.
