NG-CARES empowers no fewer than 400 Gombe Covid-19 victims

The Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG- CARES) has newly empowered no fewer than 400 people in Gombe State. These lucky people were victims of the Covid-19 pandemic and each of them received 50 chicks and three bags of feeds.
The gesture of NG-CARES would help eradicate the poverty that has been ingrained in the lives of these 400 people since the pandemic. While speaking to the newsmen, the Coordinator of the program whose name is Mr. Ismaila Idris said that the NG-CARES will be empowering no fewer than 400 people. The association found out that people were still suffering from the aftermath of Covid-19. Hence, it stepped in to help alleviate their suffering by empowering them.
The 400 lucky ones were selected from a list that was sent to Gombe Local Government after the association requested the names of those who were affected by COVID-19. Idris added that the NG-CARES has empowered a lot of people and urged the most recent beneficiaries of the initiative to maximize the items provided.
