Nigeria Human Rights Activist VeryDarkMan has suggested a massive protest over the sudden surge in the price of gas in Nigeria. As of last month, gas was selling at the rate of N750 per Kg. Now, a 12.5kg gas cylinder sells for N12,500 which translates to N1,000 per kg.
Where is Nigeria heading to, you'd ask? That is why VeryDarkMan is advising Nigerians to protest so the government would return the prices of gas to its previous price.
VeryDarkMan said, "This is part where the youths can unanimously take a walk in this country and stage a large protest in order to urge the government to make a move. But of course we know where our power dey na. To channel our energy into the wrong thing."
He added how he warned Nigerians against going to work when the price of Petrol was increased, but people who felt they had a robust pocket kept buying the fuel. If care is not taken, things will become worse and all we will do is complain.
