President Tunbu congratulates the new president of Turkey
The newly inaugurated president of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, has congratulated the President of Turkey who is Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He sent his congrats to him on his reelection as the president of Turkey.
He shared this congratulations via his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
He said his recent electoral victory is an unmistakable sign that he has the full trust of the people in Turkey.
He went ahead to wish him a successful tenure and he revealed he is looking forward to a collaborative relationship between Nigeria and Turkey.
President Erdogan had won the elections on Sunday. This was the presidential runoff election and he had been declared the winner by Turkey's Supreme Election Council.
There was need for a runoff elections as the first elections which held earlier couldnt decalre a winner since neither candidate could get more than 50% of the votes.
