Robbers kill man, steal money he withdrew from the bank

News reports that a man was killed in Ekiti state recently by some robbers.
The man who was killed by these robbers has been identified as Mr. Olasunkanmi Joseph.
These robbers were masked up and were in pursuit of this man.
This incident happened one the 6th of April, 2023.
The victim was being chased by the robbers and got stuck in a traffic holdup when they caught up to him and killed him.

Sources say that when he got stuck in the traffic, he couldn't move away as those men dragged him out of his car. They then shot the man.
We learnt that these suspects carried away a sack from the car which we eventually learned was a huge amount of money and drove off.
It was stated in reports that the victim had withdrawn N10 million from a bank and was returning when this sad incident happened.
We learnt that the suspects were driving a motorcycle.
Many witnesses ran away as soon as gunshots were heard.
It was Mr Sunday Abutu who is the Spokesperson of the State police Command who confirmed this incident.
They mentioned that they have begun investigation and have also carried the deceased to the morgue.
