School resident pastor flogs female student brutally for being late for Sunday services
A recent incident in Peter's Combined Christian School has caused a stir on social media. A school resident pastor flogged a female student brutally for coming late to Sunday service in the school. This incident caused am uproar especially after pictures of the student's battered back surfaced on the internet.
Sources reveal that the pastor who has been identified as Diketso Matibidi called out the female student before everyone present and flogged her mercilessly. This incident occured in St Peter's Combined Christian School in Mohlaletsi village which is located in Sekhukhune District, Limpopo, in South Africa. The pastor beat her with a sjambok, which is a popular cane used in South Africa.
She was a student in Grade 12 in this school. This incident occured on the 12th of November, 2023. Immediate disciplinary action has taken place against the pastor who performed this action. The pastor has been suspended for his actions. A disciplinary hearing has been instituted against him. The school first didn't take any actions and denied such happened but eventually had to take action after concerned parents began to protest.
