Nigerian singer Blessing Mariam Akiode popularly known as Candy Bleakz bragged about having the biggest song in the country last year.

While speaking to Tacha on the Big Friday Show, Candy Bleakz talked about how biased the Headies Awards is in nominating artists.
She spoke about how the award show ignored her smash hit song Tikuku and nominated Asake massively.
She said the Rookie of the year and Street-Hop artist nominees were below standard, stating that her song Tikuku topped the music charts everywhere.
"Awards cannot tell me my song is the biggest song cause I had the biggest song last year.", she said.
Tacha asked her why she felt her colleague Bloody Civilian shouldn't be in the category, she said it was unusual seeing other names on the list while hers was not included.
Few weeks to the 16th Headies, Candy Bleakz said in an interview that Bloody Civilian doesn't deserve the Rookie nomination as she doesn't know who she is.
She added that not being part of the Rookie of the year nominees is a disrespect to her craft as an artist.
Tacha asked her what number her hit song Tikuku made it to on Apple Music Nigeria Top 100 and she answered saying, "On Apple Music, it made it to Top 40. I feel songs on Top 10 aren't even as popular as songs that made it to Top 40"
