Recall that Nuhu Ribadu was appointed as the Special Adviser on security to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on June 15.
He was appointed as a special adviser alongside seven others who received different titles.
Nuhu was born on the 21st of November, 1960 and he was the Executive Chairman of EFCC from 2003-2007.
After his tenure as the Executive Chairman of EFCC ended in 2007, he served as Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG). Mr. Nuhu was once a presidential aspirant under the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
He took to his official Twitter page to announce that he has finally assumed office.
According to him, he said assuming duties made him reminisce on the weight that his position carries. He said his attire is a combination of "priceless gifts" given to him by those who helped in shaping his life.
Nuhu wore shoes, a babbar riga, and a cap gifted to him by the late Dr. Mahmud Tukur and IGP Ibrahim Coomassie. He described the duo as extraordinary mentors and patriotic citizens.
He continued his announcement by appreciating the heroes who helped to shape his career and the lessons he's learned so far. He concluded his statement by expressing gratitude towards the privilege granted to him to serve Nigeria as a nation.
