Teenager beats father to death with a pestle in Abuja
Police officers in the Federal Capital Territory Police Command have arrested a teenager in Abuja for beating his father to death with a pestle
This young boy has been identified as Emmanuel John and he is 16 years old.
He killed his father, Monday John over a fight his father had with his mother.
This incident happened after a fight between his parents. We learnt it was a physical fight.
The boy had sided with his mother in the fight and went ahead to hit his father with a pestle and this was what led to his death.
This case was reported to the Karshi Police Station by a man named Yusuf Ayuba, on Wednesday.
They revealed that Emmanuel is in the Police custody and he will soon be tried in a juvenile court.
This will happen after the investigation into the case has been concluded.
