After an initial refusal to narrate what transpired at the police station, VeryDarkMan decided to spill all that went down to the public. He said that immediately he entered the police station he was summoned to in Abuja, he discovered that the petition slammed against him was the handiwork of actress Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and Sam Klef. He added how the Police officer assigned to his case had questioned him regarding a video he posted before walking into the station with his lawyers. After that was settled, the police officer said VeryDarkMan was charged with defamation of character, threat to life, and hurling disrespectful words to Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and Sam Klef.

He was accused of calling Iyabo Ojo and her daughter prostitutes who sleep with men in exchange for money. After all that was said and done, he was asked to write a statement and was later directed to the office of the police head at the station. By then, both Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh had shown up to the station to state their cases.

VeryDarkMan said he denied threatening Sam Klef but admitted to insulting Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh. To him, he insulted Iyabo Ojo out of provocation because she called his mother an animal. He added that Tonto Dikeh tried her best to convince the officer in charge of the case to detain him but the officer declined. VeryDarkMan said Tonto Dikeh was frustrated and had to rush outside the station to make different calls, yet the officer refused to detain him because there wasn't any concrete evidence.
