Queen of Nigerian music, Tiwa Savage is set to headline the OVO Wembley Arena in London on November 26th, making her the first female artiste in Africa to do it.

In a recent interview on the Good Morning Britain show, Tiwa Savage spoke about the growth of Afrobeats and her experience as a singer.
She said, "I think Afrobeats is like the beginning for like popular black music. So when you think of hip-hop, RnB, soul, it really all stems from Africa so it's really a full circle moment to see that Afrobeats is getting the attention and the limelight that it is getting right now."

She also spoke on how she started singing and how she got kicked out of a music competition in Wembley in 2006 when she was just an upcoming artiste.
"Guess what? I'm coming back now to shut it down in Wembley Arena. So the moral of the story is when they tell you no, you come back and tell them or show them why they should have told you yes."

The OVO Wembley Arena is a 12,500-seat capacity. It is the second largest arena in London after the O2 Arena which has a 20,000 capacity.
