Abuja Airport Reopens after Aircraft incident
The Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport has reopened after the incident which took place on Sunday.
Recall the Airport runway was shut after the Max Air incident.
It was the Nigeria’s aviation minister who is Hadi Sirika, was the one who announced that the airport runway had been reopened. The announcement was made today.
On Sunday, Max Air had crah landed at the airport after 2 of its tyres burst into flames.
The Airport emergency response quickly yo the incident and they had shut down the runway.
All passengers were evacuated safely.
He mentioned that they have been able to tow the aircraft off the runway.
They have inspected the runway and certified it because the plan had been stuck to the runway.
They appreciated people for their patience and understanding over the incident.
