Nigerian street-hop artist Habeeb Olalomi professionally known as Portable has advised Pres. Tinubu to adopt former CBN Governor Emefiele's policies to combat the economic crisis.
In a recent video, Portable weighed in on the fluctuating foreign exchange rate, advising Pres. Tinubu to stop the flow of dollars by converting all dollar bank accounts to Naira accounts.
Portable said Nigerians are partly responsible for the current situation because they prefer to spend dollars than Naira. He added that Nigerians who earn in dollars are one of the reasons why the Naira keeps crashing against the dollar because they see no value in the currency. He urged Nigerians to transact in Naira to curb the rising inflation of commodities.
