Singer Asake made his fans proud as he emerged winner of the Headies Award Next-rated Artist and Best Album of the Year. Asake was nominated for seven categories namely, the Digital Artiste of the Year, Next Rated, Best Male Artist, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Street-Hop Artiste, and Best Collaboration.
He beat the likes of Burna Boy, Rema, Omah Lay, Victony, and Davido to the Best Album of the Year.
Also, he beat Young Jonn, Seyi Vibez, Victony, and Spyro to emerge as the winner of Best Album of the Year.
Asake's fans wanted their favorite to win at least three of the categories he was nominated but emerging winner of two wasn't undermined. Asake has sincerely made a name for himself with his music. His recent achievement at the 02 arena 20k capacity sold-out concert showed him how much people cherished him.
