Guinness World Record says they have received 1,500 applications from Nigerians in 2 months

Guinness World Record have revealed how they have received about 1,500 applications from Nigerians alone in the past 2 months.
This is coming after the popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record Record for longest cooking time by an individual.

Recall about 2 months ago, the 27 year old chef, Hilda cooked for 100 hours to break the existing Record of 87 hours 45 mins which was set by an Indian chef, lata Tondon in 2019.
She broke the Record but was awarded 93 hours by GWR for some miscalculations on the resting time Hilda had for the cook-a-thon.
Ever since Hilda Baci broke this Record and attained fame, many other Nigerians Nigerians stepped up up the game to attempt breaking their own record.

Recall last month, Chef Dammy who is a student at the Federal University of Ekiti, Oye (FUOYE) had also attempted to break Hilda Bacis Record and cooked for 120 hours however after this, GWR revealed that she didn't apply officially before commencing on this journey.
Ever since them, Many more numbering thousands have applied to the Guinness World Record.
Some have applied for various things like ,cook-a-thon, longest massage, kiss-a-thon, longest painting and even cry-a-thon among others.
Following this large number of applications and tries, the GWR said enough of these marathons. They then revealed how they received 1,500 applications from Nigerians in just 2 months.
GWR revealed that the way Hilda Bacis cook-a-thon brought so much attention and fame has inspired many others to jump on it as if it was a trend.
