JAMB releases results for 2023 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2023 UTME results.
Recall the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) was conducted just recently.
The exams were held starting from Tuesday, April 25 2023 and were to finish on the 1st of May which was Monday. It was a computer based test. These exams are held only once a year.
However some candidates experienced hitches and these candidates have been rescheduled for this weekend.
Mr Fabian Benjamin who is the spokesperson for JAMB released a statement yesterday, Tuesday. He said that the total number of candidates that were registered were 1,595,779. And there were 708 CBT centers for these registered candidates in Nigeria in 105 towns.
The results they released yesterday domestic include those who experience hitches and have been rescheduled to take the exam on the 6th of May.
How to check the results
For candidates to check their results, they will send this code UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019. They must use the same phone number they used for their registration to send this code.
Those who have been rescheduled or were absent would not see a red but their status.
For the rescheduled candidates, they will see 'you were rescheduled '. These ones are advised to keep checking their portals for more info.
