
The LGBTQ community staged a protest in Abuja this afternoon in response to the federal government's recent decision to capture and prosecute anyone caught in the act, which includes homosexuality, lesbianism, and cross-dressing, with a minimum sentence of six months in prison and a hefty fine.

The demonstrators expressed their dissatisfaction with the law by urging the federal government to withdraw from it as soon as possible.
