President Bola Tinubu Takes Oath Of Office
The new president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, took the oath of Office just a few minutes ago.
He had officially been sworn in as the president, Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Vice president, Kashim Shetima has also taken the oath of office
It was the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola, who administered the oath surig swear-in for the new president of Nigeria and his vice.
The inauguration is taking place at the Eagles Square in Abuja and many delegates and heads of states from different countries are present at the event.
Tinubu is officially the 16th President of Nigeria.
Recall he contested under the All Progressives Congress and won the elections in February and beat all the other parties.
Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, alongside the former president were on the stage as he took the oath of office.
