A fan of Shallipopi has sparked reactions online after revealing how he got out of depression while listening to his songs.
In a video making the rounds online, a young man was asked what he thinks about Shallipopi's music. Unlike the larger demographic, he had great things to say about the singer. The man said Shallipopi's song is uplifting, describing it as a type of Afro-gospel music that enriches the soul.
Revealing how Shallipopi healed his depression, he said he was feeling down one day and suddenly jumped out of bed when he heard the singer's hit song "Elon Musk" and discovered how beautiful life was.
He said, "Shallipopi's music is uplifting. It sounds kind of gospel. He has a tune of gospel in his songs. He gives praise to God every time. Shallipopi is a very good artist and he brought me out of depression as well. I was so down and I heard, 'Elon Musk boys,para dey body.' I got off my bed and I was like, 'So this life is beautiful. Wow!'
