The Nigeria Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo has said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visa ban will be lifted soon.

Keyamo announced this at the 7th Aviation Summit in Abuja yesterday.
This is coming a few days after President Tinubu announced that the visa restrictions placed on Nigerian citizens have been lifted after a meeting with the UAE President earlier this week.
The Minister of Aviation said that the time the ban hasn't been lifted as speculated but it is currently in the works.
He clarified that though both countries have agreed to lifting the ban, there are some necessary measures that need to be taken.
Though the processing may take longer than expected so when it will be lifted is yet to be communicated.
Keyamo stated that for them to kickstart the process, Etihad and Emirates have to reschedule their flights before they can begin operations again.
