Veteran actor Kanayo recently disclosed in an interview with Chude how his heart bleeds for this nation. When he was asked how getting old in Nigeria has been for him, he replied, "Getting old in this country is not anything to be praying for again. Because since we were born, we've been struggling with no electricity, no this and so. No this and so on. And the worst case scenario now is that, you go to school, you make a first class. And go and work for somebody who failed."

"60 is not an old age. Infact, I'm more vibrant now than I was at 40. But the thing is, when i look at what is happening around, it makes your heart bleed. You ask yourself, can my son who is quiet at 20, can he be able to. What will happen to them in the next 10 to 15 years," he concluded.

Nigeria has seriously taken a downturn. Inflation rate is high, the dollar to naira exchange rate increases on a daily, there is hike in the price of PMS. To crown it all, the rate of unemployment is nothing to write home about. What would become of this country in the next 15 years? That is a question every Nigerian should ponder upon.
