Afrobeats star Wizkid has declared his support for rookie singer, Shallipopi following the release of his latest single Ex-convict.

Recall that Shallipopi was arrested alongside five others by the EFCC Kaduna State Chapter last month after he was found guilty of cyber fraud and impersonation.
After he was released by the police, he released his second single titled Ex-convict which centers on his experiences while he was in police custody.
The song gained public support from fans and industry OGs like Olamide and Wizkid.
Wizkid took to his Instagram story yesterday and posted a screenshot on his phone while listening to Shallipopi's song.

Wizkid also went on to post new photos on his Instagram page saying, "Comot body for Shallipopi."

Moments later, Shallipopi's song, Ex-convict became the number one song on the Top 10 list of Apple Music Nigeria, leaving Asake's Lonely At the Top in number two.

Shallipopi released his debut EP yesterday titled Planet Pluto. This is his first project since his viral hit Elon Musk earlier this year.
